Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! Whether you’re a kid or just want to feel like a kid again, make sure you reserve your place at the starting line at Music City Indoor Karting & Entertainment Center in Nashville.
The Race is On!
The electric karts travel a quarter-mile, 14-turn track at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. Anyone over 4’6” is eligible to drive. (Click here to watch a video of the top-of-the-line karts in action.) Music City Indoor Karting is open seven days a week, and prices start at $20 for members and $23 for nonmembers for an eight-minute race. An annual membership costs just $15, and benefits include discounted pricing and buy-two-get-one-free deals. Although the races are all in good fun, there are still rules to be followed – you can familiarize yourself with them here – and drivers first sign a waiver and complete a full safety briefing before getting behind the wheel. Too young or petite to compete? MCIK also has a blacklight indoor mini-golf course and a mechanical bull named Frank. The entire facility can be rented out for birthdays, bachelor parties, corporate events – you name it!
