Visit Land Between The Lakes

Land Between the Lakes

Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is America’s 170,000-acre playground. Sandwiched between Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake, only about a 45-minute drive west of Clarksville, the park is a part of the National Forest System, set aside for recreation, wildlife conservation, hunting and fishing, and environmental education.

How to Get There

From Clarksville, take Highway 79 south about 24 miles to Dover. Following the signs to Land Between the Lakes, head north onto State Highway 461 and continue onto Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway until you reach the South Welcome Station, which will be on your right.
