Experience The Chalk Walk Art Festival

Chalk Walk Art Festival

Chalk Walk Art Festival

Want to see some beautiful art? Well, you don’t have to go to a museum or art exhibit to see some really cool work. In fact, you can stay right here in town. You just need to come on out to the 2019 Chalk Walk Art Festival. This is one of the coolest art festivals around because the artists actually use chalk on the sidewalk to create their works of art. And it’s certainly not amateurish – you’re going to be amazed by what some of these artists can do. So, what are you waiting for? Get the details on how to attend, and get ready to see some incredible, yet impermanent, art.

Event Details

The 2019 Chalk Walk Art Festival will take place on Saturday, May 11, so if you work during the week, you should be able to make it out. It will begin at 11 a.m. and continue on until 7 p.m., giving you more than enough time to explore and see all the interesting work these artists will be making. The event will take place at the Downtown Commons right here in Clarksville, Tennessee, so it’s just a short drive away.

Oh, and keep in mind that this event is completely free! You don’t have to pay a dime to get in, so you can spend that money on food or buying a piece of artwork instead. That way, the whole family can tag along without you having to break your budget.

Activities for the Kids

Do you have kids? Make sure to bring them along, as this is a family-friendly event. They’re going to love getting to see the interesting artworks, and they can even head on over to the Kid Zone. There, they can learn about the creative process and maybe even make a piece of artwork all their own.

What to Do

You’re going to spend plenty of time looking at artworks from incredible artists, such as Zach Herndon and Jessi Lindsey Queen. But there’s even more to do than just look at art. If you get hungry, head on over to one of the many food vendors who will be there. You can also do some shopping at the vendors’ area. You can even take a break and make some chalk art yourself.

What are you waiting for? This event is going to be a blast. If you don’t yet have a reliable way to get there (or anywhere else you need to go around town), come check out your vehicle options here at James Corlew Cadillac in Clarksville, Tennessee.
